Update 3.1 - New Planet, Bugfixes and Sirenhead
BRAVE NEW COLONY
Update 3.1 (11/Sept/2024)
This is a small update that addresses some issues that players have encountered previously.
Bugfixes:
- Fix some gameplay issues with the late game
- Fix some alien spawns not being properly spawned
- Fix tram sometimes going outside the connection tubes
- Fix some visual glitches
New Scenario:
- Introducing Wolf 1061c, a quasi-Earth planet with plenty of resources, sunlight and space to build.
Gameplay:
- Introduced the Bomber Pad/Bomber mechanic, where you can build pads dedicated for warfare against the aliens.
You will need to amass a big fleet to fight the aliens nest, and if the first wave don't success you can build more bombers and try again!
- Several new informational panels to explain things like Morale, planetary conditions and when an alien attack is occurring
- Removed requirement to have enough workers to build some building. Now it will be built, but immediately goes offline due to lack of workers.
New Units:
- Introducing the Bomber Pad, used to amass a bomber fleet to exterminate the alien menace
- A new unit: the Bomber, produced in the Bomber Pad
- New alien variation: Sirenhead. You can now have your colony be attacked by the Sirenhead and hear its characteristic screeches.
